will gmail work with Vista?

Before I pay for Yahoo, premium ( I noticed quite a few upset users on
discussions) will Gmail work?

Yes, works with Windows Mail and Microsoft Outlook and through popular
browsers such as IE and Firefox.

YES it will work..

you will have to go to the gmail Settings> Forwarding and POP/IMAP
(online via the browser of course) and enable POP

also for quick setup you can use this gmail tool (works with windows mail
and vista too)

No need to pay Yahoo. Use any Yahoo domain that isn't .com or .ca and
you can use an email program to receive and send Yahoo mail for free.

yes it does work, as does the gmail notifier. Personally i prefer to use the
gmail notifier, clickon it when mail arrives, and then open the webmail
window. But it gmail on its own will work with windows mail and outlook.
