Will Anytime Upgrade be 'movable' to a new Vista installation?

Having bought Vista Home Basic Upgrade and installed it without issue over XP
Home on my laptop, I'm thinking about possibly using the Anytime Upgrade in a
month or two's time to upgrade to Vista Home Premium.

Should in the future I wish to transfer my Vista license to a new machine
(which I believe I can one time with Home Basic Upgrade retail disc), will an
Anytime Upgrade to Home Premium follow my product key to my new machine? Or
will I be required to pay for the Anytime Upgrade again on the new machine?

Thanks for any help anyone can offer! (Apologies for cross-posting under
different groups)

It's transferable. It's a retail license. The Anytime Upgrade gives you
the product key and the ability to unlock the new version from the DVD you
have. All versions are on the one DVD.

Be very careful there. There is an Anytime upgrade specific clause in the
EULA mentioning that you can transfer it one time only, and only if your
original license allows reassignment:

15. REASSIGN TO ANOTHER DEVICE.
a. Software Other than Windows Anytime Upgrade. You may uninstall the
software and
install it on another device for your use. You may not do so to share this
license between
devices.
b. Windows Anytime Upgrade Software. The first user of the software may
reassign the
license to another device one time, but only if the license terms of the
software you upgraded
from allows reassignment.

I just posted the gotcha built into AU and transfers. It is a one-transfer
only item. Go figure. You can transfer the base all you want, but not the
AU.

There is a gotcha with AU and transfers. The EULA directly address this and
limits the transfers to one machine regardless of the fact that it does not
limit transfer of the base you upgraded from.

LOL. I just posted the same quote plus another relating to it in a new
thread.

Yep, I saw your later post and replied to it. Well at least I was not
incorrect in what I said..lol. It can be transferred, with some
restrictions after that.
