Will a video card over-ride the on-board video?

Can I use it as a two-head setup?

A look through the mobo manual doesn't tell me anything.

If you add a board, it will over ride the onboard video...
however the on-board video board *might* end up being totally disabled if
you do so

ATI/AMD has a little blurb here, in the 780G section.

http://www.amd.com/us-en/0,,3715_15532_15533,00.html

"AMD 780G Chipset Specifications with ATI Radeon HD 3200 Graphics

...ATI SurroundView - SurroundView feature allows support for up
to four independent monitors for systems equipped with an additional
Radeon discrete graphics card"

In general, in researching these kinds of display issues in the past,
the motherboard manual and web site, are of little help in determining
whether features like that have been tested. For example, if there
are two display connectors in the I/O area of the motherboard, try
and find proof that you can drive two monitors - they seldom if ever
state that in the documentation.
