Will a DirectX 10 compliant Video Card be required for Vista?

Aside from DX10 games, will there be any graphical features in the Vista UI
that requires the latest DirectX's features or will a good DX9 card be fully
capable of running Vista including Windows Aero, the Windows-Flipping thingy,
etc?

DX9 works fine but be sure the card has a WDDM compliant driver. Both are
required to get that thingy what's called Flip3D aka Switcher.

Links to card manufacturer's and the cards that support Aero Glass are in
the lower half of this page:

You have to click through a bunch of links for the ATI cards but the nVidia
list comes up right away.

No.

DirectX 9.0 support is required to get all of Aero's features however.
