Do 7950s have DirectX 10

Everywhere I go I keep hearing people say that if you do not have a Geforce
8800 you will not be able to experience the graphic qualities of DirectX 10.
Yet I have 2 7950s ussually set to SLI and my dxdiag says that I have DirectX
10. I can't imagine that they would call DirectX 9.0c DirectX 10 on peoples
computers. I am also experiencing some weird glitches in computer games that
are descriped in a few of the hotfixes for DirectX 10 cards yet it says that
these updates don't apply to me. Has my computer somehow fit through one of
the cracks and how do I get out because I would take stability and
performance over graphics quality anyday. The feeling of paying for 7950s and
then they crash in game is not a very good one.

According to nvidias's website only 8 series cards are DX10 certified

I have onboard graphics (Intel 82945) and it says DX10

Vista comes with DX10........but your video card needs to be able to use it
and only the 8000 series do
