When I try to run AOEIII (with the War Chiefs expansion), I get the splash
screens and loading screens fine, but when the menu should appear, I just get
a black screen with the mouse cursor on it. the cursor is active and I can
hear music, but the screen never materializes.

Drivers are up to date, and most other games working fine under Vista. I
have tried running as administrator, etc. Interesting that a Windows game is
the only one giving me problems.

Any thoughts?

thanks
gene
