Widows Movie Maker jams up

I have put together 70 stills as a record of excavations and installations.I
have placed a sound track.I have used a transition for each frame.The program
plays well in situ.upon attempting to create and save the movie it inevitably
jams ..stops.
at any one frame .I have tried deleting the sound.I have tried the disk on
another comp , with the same result. Is there some setting..or finishing step
I have not
done. Help..
