wide-format printers for newsprint

Can anyone recommend a wide-format printer than can print on both sides of
newsprint without the images leaking through too much to the other side? I
need to duplicate some newspapers for a project. The sheets I'm printing are
14"x22", the same size of the NY Post or Daily News.
I could go offset but I'd rather just be in control of everything here. I
think the Epson 4000 can do what I need but unfortunately I can't find it
anywhere!

I'd be surprised if the 4000 would do it without ink leaking through.
Newsprint is very thin. I have the 4000's big brother, the 7600, and from
what I observe, I wouldn't think it could do it.

Just by accident I was browsing printers one day and saw this one:

I can't tell you what the quality of it is but it might be worth a
look.
