Why: Wireless network unavailable

Hi there,
WIN XP Prof SP2 without any updates, D-Link Wireless PCI Adaptor

Why can this happen. This is a freshly formatted sustem wihtout anything
else than the above installed. I have even put in nother PCI Wireless card,
and still it can not "see" the wireless network. My other PC works
excellent and connects instantly with the wireless router.

I have changed the Wireless card as well as to move it to another open
slot.

Any suggestions will be very welcome. It's Pentium II motherboard, same as
my other PC.

Simplify your WLAN configuration and retry. This means: disable all
data protection, enable broadcasting mode and try using different
channels.
