Slow wireless network

Hi there,

Two XP Prof, SP2 with latest updates PC's. Both have D-Link DWL-G520+ PCI
cards and I have a D-Link wireless DSL Router.

For some reason the communication between the two PC's are very slow. I
know my PCI cards are only 54Mb/sec - but to wait 2 minutes for a 870kb
file to be copied from the one to the other, can not be as it should be. I
must add that the one PC, Pentium II with 350MHz CPU and 190Meg Ram can
maybe be the problem.

They have an excellent connection and are about 2meters apart.

Any suggestion will be very welcome.

Try different channels in your WLAN setup. Turn off data protection
and see if this helps.
