I use a D-Link Air DWL-520 Wireless PCI Adapter(rev.E) for connection to my wireless internet provider. When I installed XP SP2 it disabled this card and would no longer function so I had to restore my computer back to SP1. If anyone might know why it would cause this problem please let me know.

1st d-link only make the ver A or B in this card. go to:

http://communities.microsoft.com/newsgroups/default.asp?
icp=xpsp2&slcid=us

And repost your question under hardware, the link above is
the XP2 newsgroup.

Um, let me think.......Oh, I remember: BECAUSE IT'S BETA SOFTWARE!!

Why would you count on beta software working on your computer with
zero problems?

The question has even been answered in the Newspapers. If the code
for the
hardware drivers is not secure, windows will not allow it to function.
