Didn't have that problem with my old MB EVGA wiith nvidia chipset 780i

Now I have an Asus Maximus Formula with X38 chipset and everytime I start to
burn a DVD vista wil become to a halt, i can do anything during 1 minute
and then it will come back to normal....

Whats it the problem ??

I was happy when I first start using Vista from XP that this annoyance was
gone.. But now it's back ??

I did a fresh reinstall f vista with latest inf driver..

Please help.

thanks

Personally I think Nero is overrated junk, but there is a possibility
that motherboard drivers are causing a problem. The Asus website should
have the latest drivers for your motherboard and if you do find later
ones you can try that, however save to disk, reboot and follow
instructions before installing motherboard drivers. If the website has
an automated option then revisit after a reboot so the system is fairly
"Clean".

Also check Nero website for updates.
