I would like to know why the email in store in the inbox automatically be
deleted after I closed and opened the outlook application again?
I had tried to find all the tools in the toolbar to undo the setting, but to
no avail.
I want to keep the email in the inbox whenever I close and open the outlook
again. how can I be able to it? can you help me on this?

Make sure your view is set to "Messages" and not "Unread Messages". Why do
you think the messages are being deleted? Do they appear in the Deleted
Items folder?

the email in inbox that I had open is not in "deleted item". the inbox become
empty every time i close and open the Outlook application again.
may I know where to change the setting of the view from "unread messages" to
"messages"? Form the "view" button in the toolbar, I cant find the "unread
messages" button.
thanks for the tips.

Depends on your version of Outlook, which you didn't share. For Outlook
2003, it's either "Messages" in the View drop-down on the Advanced toolbar
or it's View>Arrange By>Current View>Messages.
