Hi,
my Excel 2003 don't open excel files when I duble click on the excel files
icon (*.xls) on desktop or in Windows Explorer. I receive a error mesage
like: "Cannot find the file:' --"-- '. Make sure the path and filename are
correct and all required libraries are available".

Excel files on my PC aren't bad, because:
- I can open them using "open" procedure: from Excel-> File\Open\ select
file.xls;
- I can open Excel files by duble click using Excel '97 (my old Excel
version, installed instead of Excel 2003)

- I already uninstalled Excel 2003, and installed again, but without results.

Please help me !

Start, run,

"c:\Program Files\Micrososft Office\Office\Excel.exe" /regserver

Quotes mandatory, you may need to change the path to Excel.exe.
