Why isn;t WMM in list of Programs?

I noticed that my version of Movie Maker 2 was a 'lower-
numbered' version than the downloadable on at Microsoft's
Web site (2.0.3312.0). So I downloaded it; opened WMM and
my older version was still there. I then went into my
Control Panel with the intent of 'removing' it and
downloading again. Movie Maker wasn't even listed among
the other applications on my computer. Were does WMM
reside?

I followed your steps to
Programs/Accessories/Entertainment/Movie Maker only to
confirm that I still have a previous version...not the
current version: (2.0.3312.0). If I download a newer
version, shouldn't that replace my older version?
