Why is Word saving the Normal Template every time?

It's probably something I've set - but I can't find it. Every time I create
or open an document, when save, it goes throught the gyrations of saving the
normal.dot template as well. I'm not making changes to it, or using any
custom templates. Suggestions?

If you're using Symantec/Norton AntiVirus, try disabling the
