Why is my doc opening up in a different view?

I am experiencing my document opening up in a different view than it normally
does. It opens in the normal view but the print view shows the background
with the text. This just started and I don't know why. Even when I go to
our website and click the link for the doc, it opens in the normal view and
the background is not appearing. I want the doc to display as it was created
with the background.
