I have created a workbook and setup create a backup through the
file/saveas/tools/ . . . when I test this function I get a backup copy but
is not my latest changes . . . it has the second last changes. What am I
missing???

Hi!

You're not "missing" anything, that's just how making a backup works!

The backup will always be one save behind the most recent save.

If you want, you could just make a copy (not a "backup") of the recently
saved file.

Hmmm ....

I did some experimenting ...

If you select to always create a backup and if you make changes to the
original and then save it twice before closing, the backup will be an
up-to-date copy of the original.

Although technically, this still applies:
The backup will always be one save behind the most recent save.

However, that's not the real intent of having a backup. A backup is there if
on the original you experience a "catastrophic" irreversible error.
