Why dont I see XP's built in zip facility - because of winrar??

I'm using an older version of winrar. I dont see the Windows zip facility.
When I right click in c the only options in the folder list are winrar and
winrar zip. Does winrar "take it over"???

I'm assuming it does but without uninstalling which I hadnt got round to I
cant be sure.

If you're using a licensed version of WinRar, updates are free, the latest version is 3.62.
