why don't I receive meeting requests?

I cannot receive meeting requests from users in another company using Office
2003
 
I don't get it Period end of story. now if they attach the request as an
Icalendar I get it. the other people are using office 2003. I can recieve
E-mail from the very same people just fine. weird!!
