Why doesn't hyperlink in email message work?

Whether I am using Outlook Express or Microsoft Outlook, any email that I
receive that has a hyperlink in it, will not launch the page when the link is
clicked. I am using Norton Internet Security and Norton Anti-virus software.
Any ideas as to why? This problem is a new one for me. Thanks
 
Sometimes you have to hold the "Ctrl" down while you click on it, to open the
link.
