inbox email hyperlinks don't work

Justin

Recently hyperlinks in incoming email stopped working. I can cut and paste
the links, but clicking on them does nothing. I'm using Outlook 2007,
Firefox, and Norton 360.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated.
Thanks

Diane-
Thanks for responding. No error messages. I closed Firefox, checked Task
Manager for phantom Firefox processes (a prior problem but not now),
restarted Firefox, and hyperlinks now work. Go figure.

Do you get any errors? Do they work if you reset the web settings to use IE?

Justin and Diane, I am having the same difficulty. Whenever I click on a
hyperlink in my Office Outlook 2007, I get a "General Failure" message that
restates the URL I am trying to reach, but says that the application cannot
be found.

This was not a problem in the first few weeks after I installed Outlook
2007, but it is now.

If you can help me fix this, please let me know.

Thanks.

I am having the same problems and so are about 6 other people I know. I

This is really a pain to live with.

I just removed Outlook Connector to see if that might help. When I did,
Outlook wouldn't work. But when I click on Outlook Connector in Outlook it
will not forward to Internet Explorer. At one point it tells me that IE is
not on my computer...but it is. HELP

Hey all, had the same problem...go to IE, Internet Options, Program, then set
Outlook as the Default Web Browser. It works fine now...

I tried that but it didn't work. I'm still getting the error message: this
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer.
Please contact your system administrator (which is me).
