How do I reset the hyperlink options in outlook 2007

I am unable to open hyperlinks in outlook 2007. I just installed office 2007
and when I click on an email hyperlink I get an error message that says "the
operation has been cancelled due to restrictions on this computer." I have
checked with Norton and it has nothing to do with any norton settings. Can
anyone help me with a solution.

Did you by any chance recently add Firefox 3 to your computer? I did and ran into the very same problem as the one that you have encountered.

After several days of trying to solve this problem after trying several. Here is the one that solved the problem but do not forget to reboot afterwards, do following in sequence:

Click Start/Default Programs/Set program access and computer defaults/Custom then down arrow/Choose Internet Explorer and Outlook/then click OK/ Then RESTART your computer!!!!

All the solutions I found, never said REBOOT or RESTART your computer after making the changes!!!
