Why does WIndows Defender always do this?

Every time I boot, I get the exact same message from Defender asking me what
I want to do about this file:
C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\Adobe
Acrobat Speed Launcher.lnk

I ALWAYS tell it allowed, yet it never remembers.
Why?
What am I missing?

It's a *beta* program. "Beta" means software that isn't finished and is
still in the bug-checking phase. Beta software should never be run on
production machines or on any machine which you are unwilling to wipe.

To get an answer to your question, please post in one of the newsgroups
specifically set up for the beta Windows Defender program.

I do understand what "Beta" means, thanks!
Just wanted to know why no matter how many times I allow this change, it
gets flagged again at every boot.

Posted in Defender forums - thanks for the link.

Neil,

Are you logged onto the machine as a local administrator? I have had
problems with Microsoft Antispyware not retaining changes unless the changes
were reflected in a local admin account. Good luck!
