why does videoeffects not work ?!

ok when ever i do something like use video effects my
windows movie maker automatically closes ive tried meny
things but to no effect so i thought id ask the pros'

Sincearly Matt carr aka the kid who needs help heheheh
 
I have the same problem. Can someone explain what is the
prolem and how to solve it??
