hi there
ok my operating system is windows xp professional service pack 3....with
windows movie maker 2...

i have no problem in uploading a movie of any format in my movie maker as i
have almost every codec installed but the problem comes later...that is

when i play the movie normally in a player or even in windows movie maker it
plays with its original quality but as i drop the same video in the time line
to edit it then there is something missing in its quality....
it plays fine but the quality reduces,a little blurry and even the movie
brightness incresases, its just not the way i downloaded it.....i loose a lot
of its quality....
i hope u understood my point???

i have 4 to 5 codec packs installed on my computer like ffdshow, avi video
codec pack, intervideo decoder and many more like this....
i thought may be the codec's are having a conflict thats why this thing is
happening,so i even went to the option's and checked only one codec at a time
but then also it did not work....so please help

This is one of the common problems associated with using files that are not
fully compatible, the only way round it is to convert the file to wmv and
use that.
