Why does reboot fix network path not found?

I have a Win2K server with some shared folders that occassionally are not
accessible. I try disabling and re-enabling the network connection, but the
shares are still not accessible. IF I re-boot the server, once it comes back
up everything is fine. All the latest patches are loaded and there are no
significant errors in the event logs. What could cause this?

I guess it happens about once every two weeks.

Make sure the nics on those XP's are set to 100 in stead of autosense.

I think this may have been the result of an inappropriate network card
driver on the server. The Intel Pro NIC was a slightly different model.

So, is your problem solved now?

Aha, you never talked about 1 and 3. Glad you got it solved though.
