Why does outlook not load then wont open in safe mode either?

Why does outlook not load then wont open in safe mode either?
Then windows (XP home) offers to repair something in the office suite. Even
after this outlook doesnt always open. There are no other oprograms open
except a firewall (Zone Alarm)

Have you checked running processes, to ensure outlook.exe is not already
running in the background?
and has previously closed correctly.
