Outlook 2007 doesn't open then when reboot goes to safe mode

I'm having a problem that when I click to open Outlook 2007 it acts as if it
is going to open with the hourglass thing going, but then doesnt open. If I
right click on outlook it shows me read email but still doesn't open. I have
to restart my computer and then it will open only to say that outlook failed
to start correctly and do I want to open it in safe mode. This just started
happening about a week a go and not sure how to fix it.. HELP

I'm having the same problem. Outlook continues running as a process after
being shut down. Haven't been able to determine the cause. A workaround is
to open task manager (Ctrl-Alt-Del) and click on the Processes tab, then
highlight any OUTLOOK.EXE processes and End them.
