Why does Outlook message move rules create copies?

Message rules that come from a specified account will move to the specified
folder, but when a separate rule is also applicable, it will create a copy of
that message. Now we have duplicate eMails.

Example: I have a business eMail account. I have created a rule that moves
all message from that account to the specified folder. This works fine.
This acts as a global rule.

I also receive special messagages from certain customers. I create a rule
that moves those messages to a specified folder based on the words in the
subject title.

Since the messages from my clients are to my business email account and it
also has the qualified words, Outlook apparently duplicates the messagage to
accommodate the rule.

Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank You.

put the rule for specific customers first and add stop processing to it.
