Why does Oultook keep telling that server is unavailable?

Whenever i try to open my Outlook program it gives me the following message:
The connection to the microsoft exchange server is unavailable. Outlook needs
to be online or connected to finish this action. After I click ok the
following box appears: Microsot exchange Server: ..........
Mail box: ..........................................
What should I do? I have already configured the program and it's everthing
working appropriately, but I still can't open the program.

You really didn't specify if you connect to a Microsoft Exchange server. If
you don't, you can remove the account type by going thru the mail applet in
the control panel.
