Why does Excel truncate memo fields from Access?

When I copy an Access table with a memo formated field, and the field is
long, to Excel, the field always gets cut off. Another Oracle program that
can pull the same data will copy the field in it's entirety into Excel.
 
Are you copying the table directly, or are you using a query? Do you have
any format on the memo field?
 
Have you tried using TransferSpreadsheet to get the data into Excel?
