Why does a reply use the wrong account?

Nick

I have a number of Accounts. My default account is the same as that to which
most of my (one to one) business emails are sent. However, replies to these
messages are defaulting to another of my accounts. Consequently, I have to
change the account manually each time I send a reply.

Note that I posted this yesterday and received a response. Unfortunately,
the link to the response returned a blank page.

Hi,

I have been using a program called Auto Reply Manager which works as
an add-in for Outlook.
You can set from there to Auto Reply to a specific person, to all the
emails received trough an account or into a specifc folder.
Also it has a setting from which you can select to reply from an
account to the messages you received onto anther one.
You can download the trial version or you can purchase it from
www.emailaddressmanager.com

Kind Regards,
Andrew

My reply from yesterday:
Is this a catchall account? (do the others use the same login information as
the first account?) This is the most common cause of outlook using the
'wrong' account.

if not, what type of email accounts are in your profile?

In the future, search for either your username or the message subject and
you'll find the thread - you can do this from google. Or you can use an
alternate forum, such as www.outlookforums.com or forums.slipstick.com.
