Reply uses wrong account

I have Outlook 2003 on Windows XP.
I have two entirely different accounts. First is a personal account with
"comcast.net" address and the other uses "my domain name.com" address. Each
with its own set of POP/SMTP servers. The default is the personal account.
However even if I try to reply the personal email sent to my personal account
it says the reply will be sent via the business account.

Once again
The default account is personal.
Incoming message was addressed to my personal address.
I click reply to personal mail
The reply is being sent using the other account

I checked the postings and see several people complaining about the same.
However It seems there was no concrete reply to this. As far as I understand
Outlook is designed to use the same account for reply. However this is not
happening.

Yep, I have just the same problem - only intermittently; with no pattern
as to why it happens. A real pain; I always have to check it's replying
through the correct account.

Also, I have already installed office update SP2.
The description of bugs says that a similar undocumented bug is fixed but
this problem has not gone away. I have a feeling that this is yet another
undocumented bug.

Presumably the business account is connected to Exchange? I think you'll
find that an Exchange account may well overrule the "Reply in account that
mail was sent to" precedent. The only option you have, I think, is to click
the "Accounts" button next to the "Send" button in the Compose Mail window
and select your personal account. BTW, does your company know you are using
their bandwidth to send personal emails?

Dear Gordon,

First of all it is my own company so the ethics issue is not there. Secondly
they are both POP3 accounts. The personal is set as a default account.
However the reply is always sent through the business account and I could not
find any way to change that. I am also software professional and have some
knowledge of the registry. I tried to look into the registry as well but
could not find anything.
