Why does a default signature not get attached?

In Outlook 2003 I have selected a signature to be used for new mail with
a particular pop3 account. The signature does not appear in the mails
I am sending but will paste in the email before sending if I manually
select the signature.

How can I fix this?

Is that account your default account? If not, Outlook can only switch
signatures when you change accounts if (a) you have a signature set for the
default account and (b) you're using WordMail.

Sue,

No its not the default and I do not use a sig with the default account.
So I'm going to create a blank sig for the default which might make it
work?

Tahnaks

Yes, that should make it work. Try using a space or two for the "blank"
signature.
