That was a bug in v2.0.1. Can be corrected via:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\desktop\WindowMetrics]
"Shell Icon BPP"="16"
"Shell Icon Size"="32"

although there is less messing around via:

Display
Appearance
Advanced
Item: Icon
Size: <-decrease-by-1->
OK
OK

Size: <-original-value->
OK
OK


Another possible bug is in:

TweakUI
Internet Explorer
Search
Create | Edit

If the search string is longer than 226 characters,
the resulting error does not indicate that the string
is too long.

Just delete the icon cache file. It takes seconds.
