why do my emails arrive with no message??

they have not subject or content........they are just little envelopes which
just go straight to my junk mail
I have even tried to get a friend to e-mail me but I cannot recieve the
content!
It's quite fustrating
Any help will be very much appreciated.

Angie, do these emails show a sender name and if so are they from
senders you expect?

Problems like this are often caused by Anti Virus programs, please say
what Antivirus you have and whether it is set to "Scan Emails". If it is
that might be your problem. You don't say which mail program so people
will assume Windows Mail that comes with Vista. If not please say so.

Also we will assume that it "Was" working and that for some reason this
just started happening, is that correct? If that is what happened can
you think of anything that changed around that time, for example were
any kind of updates installed or anything like power outages or improper
shutdowns.

See this could be a real fault or some kind of setting mistake (Seems
like mistakes are easier to make on a laptop if not using a real mouse
with it) so in order to help you some more information is needed.

To check if the message has any content, select it then press the Ctrl key
and the F3 key at the same time,
Can you see anything there?

Try going to the tools menu in Windows Mail and remove the checkmark from
'Read all messages in Plain Text>apply>ok
Can you see the content now?

What happens if you click on Reply to one of those messages.
Does the reply mail window show any content?
