Why do I have to type y or n to delete portions of a document in

Outlook 2003 Professional SP2 ....8122
Same software at home and at work. At work if I am forwarding something and
want to delete some of the text I hit delete and the bottom of the screen
says Delete Yes or No, I have to hit "Y" to actually delete the text. How
to I get rid of this, doesn't do it at home. Same options in Mail Format Use
Word 2003 as editor ... as rich text (checked both)
 
I'm having this same problem!!! Only mine is at home and not at work
 
If I reset the option under "Mail Format" to remove "word" as editor this
goes away. Machine at home has these "On" and doesn't have this problem.
Wierd, need an answer
