Why did the font change after upgrading to 2003?

After upgrading to Microsoft 2003 the font in my previous documents using
Word 2000 have changed and I can't seem to get them right.
 
It depends on what you mean when you say 'can't get them right'. Can they be
seen in the font drop down menu? If so what happens when you change the text
to one of these fonts?

Typically your version of word only displays those fonts that are supported
by your printer therefore if you've also changed your printer, then some
fonts may not be supported.
