Why did Pivot table charts copied into workbook with standard cha.

Recently I created a workbook with standard charts (made by using the chart
wizard) on individual worksheets . Next I copied pivot table charts into the
workbook, also on individual worksheets. (The pivot tables were on the
sheets with the charts, not on separate sheets.) Although my original charts
remained intact, most the pivot table charts disappeared from the worksheets,
leaving only the pivot tables. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Is
there a bug in the software that prevents pivot charts being in the same
workbook as standard wizard charts?

I know of no reason that real charts and pivot charts can't coexist within the same
workbook. I've been mixing them for ages (though I must admit I avoid pivot charts
when I can). Maybe if you stepped through and describe the procedure that led to
this problem, someone might be able to help. Has it only happened once, or can you
repeat the problem?
