I have a website at:

www10.brinkster.com/solsysdata

For some reason, the computer that I work with the most, at home, gives me
the well-known, "The page cannot be displayed," error. However, every other
computer, including others in my home, can view it without a problem.

The page does have ads in it. Are they the cause? My security settings are
typical and I don't believe that I have anything blocked except unsigned
ActiveX controls and those not marked as safe. I've even deleted all my
temporary internet files.

Why can't I load my page? I'll bet that you'll have no problem with it.

Check for a file named HOSTS with no extension (not Hosts.sam). It may be a
hidden file. Open it with Notepad and remove any line referencing the site.
Or, rename HOSTS to OLDHOSTS

You hit the problem right on the head. There was an IP address for my site.
I deleted it. Thanks! I was the dummy who entered that IP address in the
HOSTS file. I was just experimenting with it, months ago. The web host must
have changed the IP address.

Lesson: Don't enter static addresses in the HOSTS file!
