Why can't I see new emails since upgrading to Outlook 2007?

Old email can be viewed with no problem. New emails do not display, just the
header & the preview, nothing shows in the Reading Pane or if message is
fully opened. I've already updated the Acrobat Reader as suggested and still
having same problem.

Patrick,

I have a problem similar to THSnHOU; after importing messages into Outlook
from Outlook Express the body of the messages don't show up in the reading
pane but I don't know what AVG's Outlook integration is or how to disable it.
Can you tell me?

Thanks

My boss is having the same problem and our tech dept could not help. How to
I go about disabling AVG's Outlook integration?

Open the AVG Control Center, select the Email component, open its
properties, and disable it.

Will I need admin rights to do this? (Not going to be back over to that job
until tomorrow so I can't check).

I just installed and activated Ofc Prof 2007 and I cannot see anything in the
Reading Pane. It was originally there but when I imported some emails from my
old laptop, it disappeared. I am not familiar with "AVG Control Center" so I
am not sure what I am looking for or where I am looking for it. Can you
please provide a bit more info?
Thanks so much!

Why have you hijacked someone-else's thread?

Apologies, I just started working with this and do not know the etiquette. I
read another thread where someone was asked not to multi-post and I assumed
all related subjects should stay within the same thread. Shall I begin
another? I think this is a very valuable and useful tool and I would like to
make proper use of it. Where can I learn more on the "how to's"? You guys who
respond are terrific!

If it's a different problem from the original poster, then yes, start a new
thread.

Make sure the antivirus you use is not scanning email. Also, any mail affected by the antivirus is unlikely to 're-appear' once the problem is fixed but all new mail should be ok.
