How do I recover previous emails since upgrading to new Outlook?

I had emails in a previous version of Outlook along with personal folders. I
have upgraded to a new version of Outlook and all the emails and folders have
dissapeared. How do I recover these?

Upgrading won't do that, what exactly did you do?
