This is really a weird problem.
The computer is a Compaq EVO 620C with XP Pro. SP1
installed. Office 2003 is also installed.
I've tried to enable the Fax service on this machine, and
I simply can't.
I first went to Add/Remove programs in the Control Panel,
and selected Add/Remove Windows Components. Then windows
reports that it cannot init the FAX library. And after it
finishes - I just don't see the FAX Service option.
I said, ok. Let's try to install it anyway.
I went to my Printers and tried to add the FAX printer.
What happens is like a fast window pops out and closes
before I can even see what it does.
And as you can understand... there's no fax printer added
to the computer.
Reboot doesn't change the status...
Any one has any ideas?
Thanks
Shahar
