why can't i download emails anymore?

As of lunchtime yesterday I can no longer receive emails from my ISP using
Outlook 2007. I also use Norton Internet Security 2007 which informs me that
there is an error when receiving. I can send emails no problem.
I called the ISP who informs me that they do not support Outlook 2007, only
Outlook Express. We went through the process of configuring Outlook Express
and everything worked fine.
My question is why did this suddenly happen when everything was working fine
and is there anything that can be done to rectify the sitiation as I rely on
Outlook 2007 heavily. Please help. Jason.

You could use the excellent and free email server Mercury/32. This does not
suffer from MicroCrap issues.

Hi Peter,

Thanks for the speedy response. It's all sorted now. I ran the Office 2007
repair utility and it worked as treat.

Not quite sure about having my own mail server though. I've only got two
email accounts and it might be a case of using a sledgehammer to crack a nut.
