Incoming Email

Barryjt

I am using Outlook 2007 with Windows Vista and Orange Broadband.
I have not been able to receive emails to my Outlook inbox since Monday. I
know I have received quite a lot of emails because I see the pop up at the
bottom of the screen when I'm using IE and also, if I click on "Send &
Receive" I see a number of emails being received. I have also sent myself
emails from my Hotmail address.

I have webmail and when I checked yesterday, there were no emails there.
However, I have received some there today. Also, today, I found emails in my
Outlook Inbox which had been sent yesterday but still nothing from today.

I contacted my ISP (Orange) but they say they don't support Outlook, only
Outlook Express..

Help please but in low tech language!

Have you configured your antivirus program to scan incoming messages? If
so, uninstall your AV program and reinstall it without the mail scanning
feature. See if that changes the symptoms.
