Why are my windows becoming inactive?

I was wondering if anyone can help me. When I'm working in an active window
(email, internet, etc.), for no reason the window becomes inactive on it's
own. That means I have to use my mouse to click on the window again in order
to continue working in that window. This never used to be this way (computer
is 9 months old) ...it started happening about two weeks ago. I know this
may not be a huge problem, but it's getting very annoying! Why is this
happening and what can I do to fix it? I cleaned up my system by performing
a full system scan (no problems detected) and checked for
spywayre...everything seems to be okay. Please help!!

Could be a mouse problem whereas the cursor may relocate off your active
window and deactivating it. And where every it is at the time, like on the
desktop or anywhere else, it will activate it because the cursor has focus.
Check your mouse settings or get anothr mouse......

Hi databaseben! Thanks for replying to my question. Just letting you know
(and others out there) that I was able to fix my problem. (YAY!!) It wasn't
anything to do with my mouse...it turns out that background
processes/applications were stealing the focus (found that out after I went
to another support forum website). I was recommended to go to
www.kellys-korner-xp.com to download the "Tweak UI Powertoy". After
downloading and using that, it seems I had fixed my problem. Thank you
anyway for your response and suggestions! :)
