Why are incoming emails changed from html to text?

Office 2003 automatically converts my HTML incoming emails to plain text and
removes the pictures. That means I have to adjust most of my emails before I
can read them. How can I stop this?

- Tools - Options - TAB Preferences - E-mail Options
-Make shure the following is not selected: Read all standard mail in plain
text
