Why am I getting this entry?

In the Event Log, I am getting this entry (i think it occurs on startup):

DCOM got error "The service cannot be started, either because it is
disabled or because it has no enabled devices associated with it. "
attempting to start the service IISADMIN with arguments "" in order to
run the server:
{A9E69610-B80D-11D0-B9B9-00A0C922E750}

I am running Winxp pro sp2. IISAdmin service really is disabled, but I
was under impression that it isn't needed for running winxp.

As per advice in an internet document titled "windows xp services"
(downloaded from http://www.z123.org/techsupport/xpservices.htm, but it
seems to be no longer available on the Internet), I had disabled the
services "COM+ Event System" and "COM+ System Application" on my
computer. The advice given was as follows:
<i>"COM+ Event System
You will receive, in the Event Log, a entry from "DCOM" complaining
about not having this service running if Disabled. Required for System
Event Notification. Required if you want to run BootVis with the
"optimize system" option.
Recommend: Disabled
COM+ System Application
You will receive, in the Event Log, a entry from "DCOM" complaining
about not having this service running if Disabled. Required for System
Event Notification.
Recommend: Disabled </i>
As you see, disabling these two services gives rise to the DCOM error
message in Event Log, but it seems to cause no real problem for the
computer, and mine has been working OK for two years. I suggest,
however, that you check the status of the two services mentioned above
on your computer, and enable them if you think it necessary.
