this is a good rule of the thumb>>>>

whoever claims vista runs fine on their computer dont know skit about
computers!

they cant see horrid performance, bloat & bad design even if it landed on
their empty heads

I can't speak for anyone, but I know based on my experience that Vista
performs very well, in some cases you will experience issues but its usually
a case of old hardware or a particular component not up to standard.

You are in NO position to make such a statement.
And there is NO way you can prove it.
Like much of what you say, it is based more on blind hate and little
on facts.

It is you regularly proving you "dont know skit about computers" as
demonstrated by the many FALSE facts you post and FALSE accusations
you make against others.
Facts seem very elusive to you.

Windows Vista continues to work well on two older computers of mine.
A FACT you are UNABLE to prove.
Of course if you can prove what you say, go ahead, but I expect as
usual you will not even try since it is NOT possible.

This is a good rule of thumb. When someone as stupid as you makes blanket
statements he knows nothing about means you have a bloated ego and an empty
head.

Just FYI

Just FYI

Did I say Just FYI? If Not, then Just FYI

It seems to be working fine for some folks - not so fine for others. I
can't imagine what your problem is.

What do you mean it works fine? While it is working fine, you might want to
check out Ubuntu until your system is screwed up again. Just FYI.

You're the only one here who knows nothing about computers. The fact you
make general statements like that just shows you are nothing but
childish. Grow up.

As I said, it seems to be working fine for some folks - not so fine for
others. Personally, I do not use vista and have advised clients not to go
for it - too high a likelihood of problems - but that does not mean that
everyone who uses it is doomed to unreconcilable problems.

....or that they will in fact have any problems.

You're right, I don't know "skit" about computers, but I do know Vista runs
fine.

My daughter was in a "skit" in grade school. Did a good job. Vista runs
fine.

I think for someone who wants a media center + general purpose machine
it would be a reasonable choice, except of course media center use does
require tying up a relatively expensive machine if you want to use the
full recording potential etc, but with a hauppauge card it seems very
easy to set up and works well. For that application (Accepting the fact
that it's fast hardware) it does seem to work very well.

Well Vista Ultimate runs like a dream on my Core 2 Duo E6850 (3GHz,
1333FSB), with 4x1GB 4-4-4-12 memory (3325MB available), Western Digital
Caviar 750GB HDD, and XFX 8800GTS 320MB graphics card. All plugged in to a
Gigabyte X38-DQ6 motherboard. I built the PC myself.

My perfomance score is 5.9 for all except the CPU, which is 5.6.
What are you using? A pocket calculator for all you know about PCs
